Hello all,

We hope you are enjoying the spring weather! We sure are excited things are picking up in the greenhouses and fields as we prepare for the busy season! We have been transplanting spring crops and hardening off plants before they go in our vegetable and flower fields. We also have been receiving lots of new chicks on the farm every couple weeks and they’re growing so fast! If you haven’t yet, check out the little lambs when you pick up your CSA- they are too cute and also growing up too fast! Our flower greenhouse just started slowly putting out our first flower blooms of the year, anemones! We can not wait to start making bouquets every week for you and having an even larger variety of vegetables!

This week’s CSA share is packed with a big variety of greens, including romaine lettuce, lettuce mix, arugula, and kale, along with herbs, and broccolini! We have some unique herbs this week: spearmint and tarragon! Spearmint can be used in some refreshing drinks and recipes or you can dry for tea! And Matt’s favorite way to use tarragon is in a greek goddess salad dressing! I have also provided some more recipe inspiration for these two lovely herbs!

Thank you all! We appreciate you so much and hope you enjoy the warm weather coming up!
