Happy spring! Spring surely has sprung here on the farm, bringing with it sunshine-filled days and the anticipation of planting season. Seeding has begun and greenhouses are being prepared for the new season ahead. As you begin your own spring plans and festivities, keep in mind that we are now selling eggs again in our market stand and still have colorful dried bouquets and wreaths for sale to bring some color to your home this spring season! We hope you are finding time to get out and enjoy the sunshine yourself this week.

In your CSA boxes, you will find loads of beautiful greens to add some freshness to your meals this week. The bok choy is flowering, and you can use/eat all parts of it in your dishes! Both the bok choy and chard are great in stir-fries, and the microgreens would be delicious in a fresh salad or used as a topping for dishes to add some extra spice. The Hakurei Turnips are a sweet and silky variety of turnip that are great in stir-fries as well, or simply roasted with some salt and pepper.
