March 11th Whole Farm CSA

This week your boxes are mostly made up of greens and herbs from the greenhouse. We are reaching the end of our stored root veggies so you will be seeing more fresh greenery and fewer carrots and beets in the weeks to come.
Try this yummy, multi green salad!
Salad Recipe:
Lettuce
arugula
radish
spinach (optional)
almonds or walnuts
apples or dried cranberries
Dressing:
2 cloves garlic
2 T apple cider vinegar
2 T balsamic vinegar
3 T olive oil
2 t salt
Place lettuce and arugula in a salad bowl. Chop up radish greens into bite-sized pieces and slice radishes into small coins then add to the bowl. Garnish with nuts and apples or cranberries.
Pour olive oil and vinegars into a blender. Add two cloves of garlic and 2 t salt then blend (you can also hand chop or grate the garlic and dressing mix in a jar.)
Dress the salad and eat!
It is lambing season! We are up to 19 lambs so far this spring with more coming every day.
